Beckett Preschool

The curriculum used in the preschool is primarily from A-Beka and Handwriting Without Tears materials, as well as other items from various sources. The preschool day includes a variety of activities that foster development of skills at all levels. The child can learn to socialize with others, to explore new ideas, to develop fine motor and gross motor skills, and to apply imagination and creativity. We encourage the child to interact with his/her peers, working out problems along the way. The teacher plays a significant role in the effectiveness of our program and is the facilitator of ongoing work and play.

The Bible curriculum will teach your child a respect for and a love of God, an appreciation for the world and other people, of the importance of good character and of the Fruit of the Spirit, and a love of God's Word. Bible lessons are presented using different teaching methods to keep the interest of young learners with emphasis placed on life application and prayer.
